Transportation Performance Monitoring Reports

The Zoning Commission Order approving the Georgetown University Campus Plan includes transportation-related conditions that the University and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital must meet throughout the twenty year term of the Plan.  Compliance with these conditions is addressed in an annual Transportation Performance Monitoring Report that is prepared in coordination with the Georgetown Community Partnership and is submitted to the DC Department of Transportation (DDOT) by December 31 each year.  Specifically, the annual Transportation Performance Monitoring Report includes the following:

  • Results of University and Hospital transportation surveys, including determination of mode split for each institution
  • Report of the University’s and Hospital’s vehicle trip generation
  • Analysis of campus parking utilization
  • Ridership counts for Georgetown University Transportation System (GUTS)
  • Summary of Transportation Demand Management (TDM) activities for each institution and associated TDM expenditures
