Elevator Modernization Program

We are in the process of an elevator modernization project to enhance the function of elevators spanning multiple buildings across the Hilltop Campus.

Project Summary

57 elevators will modernized by 2035. Over 100 elevators have been assessed as part of this planning.

2026

Leavey 9 & 10, Loyola, Lauinger 1 & 2, and Leavey 2 & 3. Planning phase for Edward Bennett Williams Law Library 1-3.

2025

2 Elevators added to Leavey Hotel. Building D and Healy Hall passenger elevators modernized.

2024

Assessment completed for the Law Center. Leavey freight elevator modernized.

2022

Village C West passenger elevators modernized.

2021

Assessment completed for the Hilltop. Initial program is planned for 10 year. Darnall freight modernized.
