Generator demolition using grinders and other equipment — Wednesday, May 20 through Friday, June 12
This work will be noisy.
Concrete pad demolition with hammer drills against the slab — Monday, June 15 through Wednesday, June 17
This work will be noisy and may also generate some vibrations.
After demolition, typical construction noise will take place until the end of the project in October 2026.

Impact: As part of the New Research Building Generator Replacement Project, there will be intermittent noisy work at the New Research Building and surrounding areas through Wednesday, June 17. Work will be limited to 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will adhere to campus no work dates.
