Lisa Belokur
Lisa is Vice President of Planning and Facilities Management overseeing facilities services, residential services, transportation, planning, capital projects, engineering, utilities, and environmental health and safety. Lisa came to Georgetown University in 2019 as Associate Vice President of Facilities and Residential Services. During her time at Georgetown, she has led the partnership with ENGIE North America to provide upgrades to the university’s major utility, distribution, monitoring, and control systems across campus. Lisa developed a data management, customer service program that oversees work intake, communications, and work prioritization for Facilities Management. Lisa has also established and provided strategic oversight of the campus deferred maintenance program, created the office of Engineering and Utilities, led the renovation of 10 residence halls, and has championed multiple new initiatives to help the university’s sustainability goals.
Prior to her joining Georgetown University, Lisa worked at Cornell University as Director of Facilities and Senior Director of Capital Planning and Facilities. Lisa provided leadership and direction of the Capital Projects, and Facilities Management teams for Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, encompassing 531 buildings, totaling over 3.5 million square feet, as well as over 10,000 acres of research agricultural and natural lands across New York State and the Northeast Region. Lisa managed a $100M capital projects portfolio that encompassed the selection and supervision of architectural and design, construction managers, and contractors.
Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and her Masters of Science in Strategic Communications from Ithaca College.
