Ever wondered how offsite solar power agreements work?

Join us on November 22, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM for an informal discussion on the performance of the Church Hill solar farm, the solar market and strategies for Purchase Power Agreements.

This site is one of several offsite solar plants included in Georgetown’s Power-Purchase Agreement, supporting the university’s commitment to purchasing nearly 100,000 megawatt-hours of electricity annually. Stay tuned for an offsite tour in the spring of 2025. Just 1.5 hours from campus, the tour will include bus transportation and will be accompanied by Georgetown staff, who will share insights into the farm’s sustainable practices. Space is limited to 15 participants, so make sure to register to reserve your spot when registration is released next year!
