Donna Poillucci

Donna Poillucci is Assistant Vice President of Facilities and Residential Services, overseeing Maintenance; Transportation; Custodial, Grounds, and Recycling; Residential Services and Summer Programs; and Facilities Services including work management and small projects.

Donna is a highly accomplished professional with over 30 years of experience in planning, constructing, and managing building assets. Coming from the City of Alexandria where she served as the Deputy Director of Facilities, Planning, and Construction, Donna played a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding the city’s infrastructure projects and facilities management. Her expertise and leadership in the field was instrumental in ensuring that Alexandria’s buildings and public spaces were developed and maintained to the highest standards.

Donna’s career is distinguished by a series of notable achievements, including the successful completion of several high-profile projects that have significantly contributed to the development and enhancement of Alexandria’s infrastructure. The most recent of those projects was the purchase and renovation of a 280,000 square foot building in which several departments in multiple locations were successfully consolidated. Her dedication to her work is matched by her commitment to fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and community members.

In her most recent role, Donna led a dynamic team of forty-five and coordinated various aspects of the city’s facilities projects. Donna was responsible for 123 buildings that encompassed 4.8 million square feet and 528 square feet of parking garages. Donna managed a $282 million 10-year CIP budget along with a $15.1 million dollar operations budget. Her work involved strategic planning, overseeing construction processes, and ensuring that all projects aligned with the city’s vision and regulatory standards. Her ability to balance innovative solutions with practical considerations has earned her a reputation as a trusted and respected leader in her field.

Donna earned her Associate’s degree in Business Management from Northern Virginia Community College and her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from George Mason University.
