GUTS Bus Changes May 19th-20th

Posted in Announcements

Dear Members of the Georgetown University Community,

In order to safely welcome our graduating students’ friends and families and effectively support commencement activities this coming weekend, it is necessary to relocate the main campus GUTS bus stops and alter the routes. Beginning at 10:00am on Thursday, May 19 through midnight on Friday, May 20 all GUTS bus stops will be relocated to north campus. There will be no GUTS service on Saturday, May 21 as this weekend begins the GUTS summer schedule, when there is no service on Saturdays.

On Thursday, May 19 and Friday, May 20:

The Rosslyn, Arlington and Dupont GUTS stops will be located in front of Kober Cogan.

The Wisconsin Avenue and Law Center GUTS stops will be located in front of Epicurean.

GUTS riders should allow extra time to accommodate this change. Friday, May 20 is National Bike to Work Day, and we invite members of our community to use alternative commuting options during this period, such as walking, bicycling, public transit, and ridesharing. More information about your alternative commuting options to Georgetown can be found at transportation.georgetown.edu.

Thank you for your support during the commencement activities and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Sincerely,

Robin A. Morey

Vice President, Planning and Facilities Management
