PFM Annual Picnic & Awards

Planning and Facilities Management staff members are encouraged to nominate their peers within the department for the following awards to be announced at the PFM Annual Picnic & Awards Ceremony each summer. Nominations can be submitted anytime during the year. Award nominations are rolling until the summer event date is announced with a deadline. Please note, past recipients of individual awards are ineligible for 3 years.

Award Descriptions

  • Performs work thoroughly and reliably
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude

  • Assists others with both personal and professional challenges

  • Shares personal knowledge and skills with others

  • Provides peers through advice, guidance, feedback and encouragement

  • Helps onboard new employees or supervisors

  • Serves as a positive role model

  • Active in current position for 6-18 months since hire date
  • Performed duties above expectations

  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge and competence in a wide array of work related topics

  • Take initiative to improve individual skills and knowledge

  • Identifies and addresses work problems and helped to resolve them

  • An individual or department that displayed exceptional dedication in fostering collaboration with PFM, enhancing synergy and effectiveness

  • Contributions and innovative initiatives led to measurable outcomes, directly supporting PFM’s goals and objectives

  • Strong engagement with PFM resulted in successful alignment of resources and elevated university’s success

  • Performed duties above and beyond expectations

  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge and competence in a wide array of work related topics

  • Managed a large workload in an effective and timely manner
