Tensae Woldesellasie is a professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in architecture and project management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics & business from Graceland University and a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Virginia. With nearly a decade of dedicated practice in architecture, Tensae brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Project Manager with the Georgetown University Capital Projects team, a position he assumed in 2024. Throughout his career, Tensae has worked in various capacities, from architectural designer and project architect to project manager. His portfolio encompasses a broad spectrum of architectural projects, spanning university housing, multi-family residences, mixed-use developments, commercial spaces, and infrastructure projects. With extensive expertise across the entire project life cycle, from initial entitlement and concept design through to permitting and construction management, Tensae’s multifaceted experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of architectural design principles, project planning, and construction. Tensae is passionate about contributing to the growth and enhancement of Georgetown University through his role in the Capital Projects team. He is excited to leverage his skills and knowledge to drive forward the university’s mission and further its reputation for excellence.
