BIO: Kelsey Sheridan is a structural engineer with experience in investigations, condition assessments, repair design, and construction management services on contemporary and historically significant buildings and structures. Ms. Sheridan graduated from Lehigh University with her BS in Civil Engineering and M.Eng in Structural Engineering. While completing her undergraduate and graduate studies, Ms. Sheridan participated in research involving implementation of wireless sensor networks for structural health monitoring. After graduation, she moved to Washington, DC where her project experience included commercial, residential, and institutional projects including several historic landmarks. In addition to being a licensed professional engineer in DC, Virginia, and Maryland, Ms. Sheridan is an active member in the architecture, engineering, and construction community. She is committed to engaging with students and creating opportunities to advance STEM education. Kelsey and her husband enjoy hiking, camping, and anything that takes them outdoors. You can catch them on the trails most weekends.
